Tobias “Astma” Jimson and Michel “Rocwell” Flygare are Swedish producers and songwriters whose work spans pop, alternative, and electronic music. Based in Årsta, outside Stockholm, the duo first gained international attention as members of NONONO alongside vocalist Stina Wäppling. Their 2013 single “Pumpin Blood” earned RIAA Gold certification in the U.S., reached the Top 40 at pop radio, charted on Billboard’s Alternative Songs list, and surpassed 100 million streams. The song’s success anchored their debut album We Are Only What We Feel and established their profile in both artist and production circles.
As producers and writers, Jimson and Flygare have collaborated with leading pop acts, co-writing Zara Larsson’s “Only You,” which won Song of the Year at the 2018 Grammis, Sweden’s premier music award. Additional credits include Tove Lo’s “Paradise” (from Queen of the Clouds), Madonna’s “HeartBreakCity” (on Rebel Heart), and work with Swedish artists such as Petra Marklund on Ensam inte stark.
Balancing artist releases with external collaborations, Astma & Rocwell continue to work across Scandinavian and international markets. Their catalog reflects a blend of pop sensibility and alternative edge, grounded in strong songwriting and textured production – a hallmark of the Swedish pop tradition they’ve helped carry forward.
